I love your NL East…that would be wonderful if the Phillies missed it… The Cardinals pick is interesting…but they have improved with Goldschmidt.
What is your opinion about the Cubs? Everyone thought they had a dynasty but to me, they have traded too much talent away.
I so hope you are wrong on your World Series pick! Don’t get me wrong…it’s nice to make it but I hope they win one day again.
The Cubs won it- and while I can’t say they fell apart I think they leveled off- and the pitching staff is old. I think in that division the Cards-Cubs or Brewers could win it- with 90 wins.
I thought the Cubs would improve more over the winter while the Brewers and Cardinals added some pop.
The Cubs minor leagues system continues to under produce. I think in the past 50 years they may have the worst- or are at least in contention for worst farm system over that period.
They gave so much for Chapman and Jose Quintana that it left them pretty empty. Chapman I get…he did help them but I think they could have won it without him but I can’t fault them because they won the World Series with him.
They won that series- after what 108 years. I was thinking the other day it’s been 40 years since the Pirates last won now- I don’t see any titles in the near future either. Maybe they will make a run at that Cubs record. Not that I will be around to know…
What stinks is they had a window and didn’t build on it. That team with Russell Martin could have done anything.
The National League Central looks very competitive to me. Watch out for the Rays this year.
I would love to see the Rays win that division..
