I can attest to where I was on this day July 30, 1975- I was fourteen and on a family trip to the amusement park along Lake Erie- Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. The one and only time I’ve ever been there. I am not an amusement park person at all. I was on the beach that day and ended up with the worst sunburn of my life.
That day former Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa went to the Machus Red Fox restaurant in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan near Detroit. He disappeared from the parking lot around 2:30 pm and is never seen or heard from again. Very doubtful that he is hanging out with Elvis, Tupac or Jim Morrison. There have been numerous claims as to his whereabouts- under the end zone at old Giants Stadium in New Jersey, buried on a farm in Michigan, grounded up into Hoffa Burgers, buried under a highway. I would think at this point we will never know for sure. Some wiseguys took care of him no doubt.
It has been said that Robert Kennedy who was one of the great haters of all time- hated with a passion three men- Jimmy Hoffa, J. Edgar Hoover and Lyndon Johnson. I don’t know what the order would be- but all three of those men hated Bobby too.
