The Beatles Song Of The Day is “Sgt.Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.” “Sgt.Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ is the introduction song for The Beatles album of the same name. The Beatles had quit touring in August 1966. In November 1966 Paul McCartney on a flight home to London from Nairobi came up with the idea of a concept album with The Beatles taking on the disguise of another band.  The album was called a concept album but the songs don’t really connect at all. The song “Sgt.Pepper” blends into “With A Little Help From My Friends” which is sang by Ringo Starr as “Billy Shears.” The song “Sgt. Pepper” was written by Paul McCartney.
