The Beatles Song Of The Day is “For No One.” The song appears on The Beatles “Revolver” album. “For No One” was written by Paul McCartney. Paul wrote this song on a holiday with Jane Asher in Switzerland. In a hired chalet amongst the snow. John would later say that “For No One” was ‘another one of his I really liked.” The original title for the song was “Why Did it Die?” George and John do not play on this song. This is one of Paul’s most beautiful songs and a perfect song. Paul McCartney: vocal, bass guitar and clavichord/ Ringo Starr: drums and tambourine/ Alan Civil: horn.
