The Beatles Song Of The Day is “Good Day Sunshine.” “Good Day Sunshine” is the first song on side 2 of The Beatles “Revolver” album. The song was written by Paul at John’s house on a sunny day. Paul would later admit to being influenced by the Lovin’ Spoonful’s “Daydream.” I’ve always loved this song, like a lot of Beatles songs it puts me in a good mood when I hear it. The Beatles have always had that ability to bring me up when I’ve been feeling down. John Lennon: harmony vocal, guitar and handclaps/ Paul McCartney: vocal, bass guitar, piano and handclaps/ George Harrison: harmony vocal and handclaps/ Ringo Starr: drums and handclaps. The song was recorded on June 8th and 9th, 1966 at Abbey Road. Producer: George Martin.
