The Beatles Song Of The Day is “Words Of Love.” “Words Of Love” is on The Beatles “Beatles For Sale” album. One of The Beatles idols wrote the song-the great Buddy Holly. This would be the only Buddy Holly song they ever covered on album. They could have made a better choice. This isn’t one of Buddy Holly’s greatest songs and its not one of The Beatles greatest covers. John Lennon: vocal and rhythm guitar/ Paul McCartney: vocal and bass guitar/ George Harrison: lead guitar/ Ringo Starr: drums and suitcase. The song was recorded on October 18th, 1964 at Abbey Road.
