2018 NFL MOCK DRAFT- #20 PICK- DETROIT LIONS SELECT TAVEN BRYAN DT- FLORIDA

The Detroit Lions are coming off of their second straight 9-7 season- but they made the playoffs in 2016 with that record- last season they missed out. Joe Caldwell is out as HC and in comes former DC in New England Matt Patricia. The Lions needs are on the defensive line- they are in desperate need there- TE- RB- LB. I like the hire of Patricia. I think he is ready to be a head coach and of all the off-season hires I like his chances for success. Who knows maybe down the line the Lions will even make a Super Bowl- something that they have never done.

With the 20th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft- The Detroit Lions take DT Taven Bryan Florida 6’5″ 291 4.98 in the 40. Patricia is a defensive coach and I think they will let him get help on defense with his first pick. Bryan is described as being a freakish talent- some have even compared him to a healthy JJ Watt- which may be a stretch and unfair to compare anyone to. Bryan is a talent though and his strength and quickness on the line should greatly improve the Lions defense.  The Lions need a disruptive force in the middle of their line and Bryan could be an immediate help.
