The Beatles Song Of The Day is “I Call Your Name.” “I Call Your Name” was released on the “Long Tall Sally” EP in the United Kingdom and on The Beatles Second Album in the United States.”I Call Your Name” was written by John Lennon. John Lennon: vocal and rhythm guitar/ Paul McCartney: bass guitar/ George Harrison: lead guitar/ Ringo Starr:drums and cowbell. The song was recorded on March 1st, 1964 at Abbey Road. Producer: George Martin. “I Call Your Name” is one of the first songs John ever wrote, it was prior to the formation of The Beatles. John gave it to Billy J. Kramer and The Dakota’s and it was the b-side of their single “Bad To Me” which was another Lennon-McCartney song. John wasn’t happy with the Billy J. Kramer version and the fact it was a b-side so The Beatles recorded it.
