I Love You” was written by Paul McCartney during The Beatles time in Hamburg,Germany in May 1962. The song was written in letter form. Paul McCartney:vocal and bass guitar/ John Lennon: backing vocal, acoustic rhhythm guitar/ George Harrison: backing vocal, lead guitar/ Ringo Starr: maracas/ Andy White: drums. The song was recorded at Abbey Road on September 11th,1962, Producer: Ron Richards,George Martin was not there when this record done. This is a very nice, pleasant song, not a classic but it shows the potential for songwriting greatness in one James Paul McCartney.
