On this date in 1970 one of the most famous goals in hockey history. With the Boston Bruins going into the game with a 3 games to 0 lead in the NHL Stanley Cup Finals- Game 4 was at the Boston Gardens and at the end of regulation the game was tied 3-3. 40 seconds into overtime the great Bobby Orr scores- and wins the Stanley Cup for the Bruins. Orr was named the winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy- the MVP for the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs–
