do words have meaning anymore?

the following paragraph has been copied from the US Declaration of Independence.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

I have stated before and i will continue to inquire – what made the people living in the colonies situations different from ours today? I do not think that the British were as oppressive as our own government has been to us – the problem is that we have supposedly elected representatives that have done this to us.

today i am trying to avoid a visit from the modern day jackbooted einsatzkommandos that seem to be rising up everywhere.

believe me i just want some common sense. i have nothing to hide, and i am generally for just leaving everyone alone to pursue their own path.

but it seems that others out there want to do things that make me wonder about absolute despotism, and my right and my duty to throw off such government.

hopefully by now you have heard of the ‘stingray’ device that mimics a cell phone tower. it’s supposed use is to catch bad guys. sure thing. sounds great.  oh EXCEPT IT GATHERS EVERYONE’S INFORMATION. when pressed in discovery to open the records, suddenly charges are reduced, or information just magically disappears.

if it were say one such agency that we had in charge of this, perhaps it would not be so bad. yeah right.

but since it is all of them – US Marshals

the tag team of NSA and DEA –

and wait for it – the IRS –

yep seems totally legit.
