The Rams have two 1st round picks this season, their own, this pick, and the Redskins pick at 22. The Rams need help defensively. They need a safety, badly. They need a receiver for Sam Bradford to mitigate the loss of Danny Amendola. They addressed some OL issues with the signing of Jake Long this off season. I think that the Rams will address the safety issue with Kenny Vaccaro at pick 22.

Tavon Austin makes a lot of sense here to step in at the receiver spot. But there is a player available in this mock that is the best on the board and that is Chance Warmack.

Warmack is a plug and play player at guard. He will solidify that line and be a massive help to the Rams offense.

At 6’2″ 317 Warmack is the best OL available at this point in the draft. He may go top ten, but most teams shy away from drafting a guard that high. Why? If this guy plays 10 seasons and keeps the holes for the backs open and the defenders off the quarterback, that was well worth the pick.

With the 16th pick the Rams select Chance Warmack, Guard, Alabama.
