Pop Singer Andy Gibb- Born This Day 1958/ {Our Love} Don’t Throw It All Away- Video

1970’s pop singer Andy Gibb was born this day 1958.  Andy Gibb was a brother of The Bee Gees. Barry Gibb would write some songs for Andy and he would have during his brief career 9 Top 40 hits including 3 #1’s in a row in 1977-78. The Number One’s were “I Just Want To Be Your Everything”, “Love Is Thicker Than Water”, and “Shadow Dancing.” I never thought much of Andy Gibb but I will give credit where credit is due- he did have one hit  which was a great song, 1978’s {Our Love} Don’t Throw It All Away” which reached #9. Great song written by Bee Gee Barry.

Andy Gibb would disappear after his brief popularity in the late 1970’s. He would die in 1988 at the age of 30, heart problems brought on by years of cocaine abuse.
