The Beatles Song Of The Day is -“Hold Me Tight.” “Hold Me Tight” is on The Beatles “With The Beatles” album.  “Hold Me Tight” was written mainly by Paul McCartney. John Lennon:backing vocals, rhythm guitar, handclaps/ Paul McCartney: vocal, bass guitar and handclaps/ George Harrison: backing vocal, lead guitar and handclaps/ Ringo Starr: drums and handclaps. The song was recorded February 11th, 1963 and September 12th,1963. It was recorded at Abbey Road. Producer: George Martin. The Beatles worked on this song during the “Please Please Me” sessions back in February 1963. After 13 takes they abandoned the song only to bring it back while working on songs for “With The Beatles.” Paul has called this a work song. In the end they joined takes 26 and 29. Not a very good Beatles original.  The Beatles had earlier covered two songs by The Shirelles, this song is influenced by their sound.
