Tomb Of The Unknowns At Arlington National Cemetery Dedicated This Day 1921

 

 

On this day in 1921 President Warren G. Harding dedicated the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery. The dedicated was exactly three years after the end of World War I. The unknown soldier was from World War I. He was brought back from France interred inside a three level marble tomb.

President Harding also dedicated the Lincoln Memorial.
