Andy Partridge of XTC turns 59 today. Partridge was the founding member, chief songwriter and guitarist for the New Wave/Pop group XTC. XTC  14 studio albums from 1978-2000. They never had a hit in America, their biggest hit in England was “Senses Working Overtime” Their most controversial song was “Dear God” XTC at their peak-the “Skylarking” album from the mid 1980’s.

XTC toured for many years early in their career until Partridge developed a fear of performing. In the last 20 years Partridge has been pretty quiet.
