On this day in 1874 Winston Churchill was born. Here is one of Churchill’s famous World War II speeches. This one was given right before the Battle of Britain” What a great wartime leader. As soon as the war was won they voted him out of office. In the United States in the 1990’s they did pretty much the same thing to George H.W. Bush. His popularity was through the roof when the war ended, a year and a half later he was voted out of office.
