This single ‘End Of The Road’ set a new record at the time for longest run at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. I recall reading at the point where it had broken Debby Boone’s record for 10 weeks with “You Light Up My Life’- and I thought I should at least listen to it- since I hadn’t heard it. The song is decent but I was expecting it to be better since it was riding the charts for so long.
It’s a bit too long, I think.
An OK song, but pretty boring overall. Definitely not deserving of all those weeks at #1.
