Stevie B- born Stephen Bernard Hill in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1968- had 12 Hot 100 singles with 7 making the Top 40 from 1988-95. Not related to the Kenny G. [or his brother Michael Bolton.] Final #1 hit of 1990.
No memory of this at all – I think I may have stopped listening to top 40 radio during this point in my life. Doesn’t seem like I was missing much
I don’t think I had heard it before either- this was around the point in time where I gave up on Top 40 radio also.
This sounds vaguely familiar.
I remember this one well, as it got a lot of radio play in Sacramento, where I lived at the time. Though there’s nothing at all remarkable about it, I’d grade it a B-minus. Certainly not deserving of #1 status, however.
