I adore Mavis Staples. Was just listening to this song yesterday.
I’m so happy I got to see Mavis live opening up for Dylan…the last time I saw him.
This song has such an infectious groove to it.
She opened for Wilco here too. Her ‘You’re Not Alone’ deserved the Grammy.
