It is easy to forget how big the Dave Clark Five were- in 1964 alone they had 7 Top 15 hits in the Billboard Top 40 in the United States- of course the band formed in Tottenham in 1958- were overshadowed by a band from up north in Liverpool- that hillbilly outfit named The Beatles. ‘Bits And Pieces’ was the follow up to their first U.S. hit- ‘Glad All Over’- and even did better – ‘Glad All Over’ #6- ‘Bits and Pieces” #4.
