A female rock band from Los Angeles- Fanny had 4 Hot 100 singles with 2 making the Top 40- their highest chart hit was #29 ‘Butter Boy’ in 1975.
They were excellent musicians…I’ve been listening to them recently. An all female band with a blues edge wasn’t common place then…or now I guess.
They really kicked ass…
The only reason I can think of that Fanny lacked wider success is the sexism still inherent in the music business. They were amazing.
