#47: ‘Can’t Buy Me Love”- one of seven songs from The Beatles third album A Hard Day’s Night that made the Hans Hot 100. Written by Paul McCartney in a Paris hotel room. It would be released as a single and become The Beatles third #1 hit in 1964 following “I Want To Hold Your Hand’ and ‘She Loves You.’ Also on the Billboard charts until they changed their ways of calculating in 1991- ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ held the record for biggest jump to #1- going from #27 to #1 in a week. I’ve always loved the energy of this song- and of the A Hard Day’s Night album overall.
