#49: ‘If I Fell’- One of seven songs from A Hard Day’s Night to make the Hans Hot 100. This song was primarily written by John Lennon with help from Paul McCartney. John would describe it as his first attempt at writing a proper ballad. The highlight of the song for me- the two part harmonies between John and Paul on the song. I’ve always loved this song- and look at it ranked at #49 and think that is way too low- but- this is The Beatles…

    • at this point so hard to separate songs in an order. If I did the list again in six months it could be totally different… ‘If I Fell’ has always been a favorite..
