Chicago’s 3rd and final #1 hit- the other two were ‘If You Leave Me Now’ 1976 and the wimpy ‘Hard To Say I’m Sorry’ 1982. Peter Cetera had gone on to a solo career at this point- lead vocals done by Bill Champlin. Not a big fan of 80’s Chicago- they lost their charm as the lost their horns.

  1. Chicago went rapidly downhill after Terry Kath’s death. He was the leader, and the heart and soul of the group. Nowadays if I want to hear Chicago, I listen to Leonid & Friends.
