Chicago’s 3rd and final #1 hit- the other two were ‘If You Leave Me Now’ 1976 and the wimpy ‘Hard To Say I’m Sorry’ 1982. Peter Cetera had gone on to a solo career at this point- lead vocals done by Bill Champlin. Not a big fan of 80’s Chicago- they lost their charm as the lost their horns.
Couldn’t get thru the first verse on this one. This is a long, long way from “25 or 6 to 4”
yes i agree pretty bad- while i was never a super fan- i did enjoy their 70’s hits.
Chicago went rapidly downhill after Terry Kath’s death. He was the leader, and the heart and soul of the group. Nowadays if I want to hear Chicago, I listen to Leonid & Friends.
