An Art-Rock band from Birmingham, England- from 1965-88 The Moody Blues had 21 Hot 100 singles with 13 making the Top 40. Their biggest hit was 1972’s ‘Nights In White Satin’ #2.
This is one of my favorite songs from what I still think of as the 60s. I’ve always been surprised that it didn’t make it higher in the charts. Maybe people were turned off by the cover of the single, which is ghastly imo, and totally out of character for a band who otherwise put so much thought and effort into their album covers back then.
One of my favorite songs from The Moody Blues…
Love this song, which is one of my favorites by the Moody Blues too.
The song that got me into them.
Love the guitar sound.
