Tommy James and The Shondell’s took ‘ I Think We’re Alone Now’ to #4 back in 1967. Tiffany Darwish was born in Norwalk, California in 1971. Her first two singles- ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ and ‘Could’ve Been’ both went to #1 and so did her debut album. She had a handful of hits after that.   1. I had a big crush on Tiffany when this song came out when I was 13, so I’m Team Tiffany even though Debbie Gibson is undoubtedly the more talented musician.
