Under The Covers: Other Artists Covering Beatles Songs: ‘It’s All Too Much’- Journey. The final of the four new Beatles songs on Yellow Submarine- is George Harrison’s ‘It’s All Too Much’- two of the four new songs on the album were George songs- and while I like both of them- I can’t say that either is up with his best work. Journey of all people covered the song in the mid 70’s- and I must say I like this cover.

Agree, this sounds pretty good. Obviously, it’s pre Steve Perry and more ‘70s rock-oriented than their later albums. I like songs from both eras.
I’ve always loved the original and this cover’s quite good, I’m a sucker for a Neil Schon guitar solo, but I do prefer Steve Hillage’s versión.
