Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam were one of the first freestyle groups to emerge in New York City in the 1980’s. They had 8 Hot 100 hits from 1985-91- with six Top 40 hits- including two #1’s- ‘Head To Toe’ and it’s follow up single ‘Lost In Emotion’ both from their second album Spanish Fly. The group disbanded in 1991.
