It doesn’t make sense with each incarnation of this group they got worse- but were more popular on the single chart. This ‘power ballad’ was from the movie Mannequin- which was even worse than this song was.
Recently voted the worst hit single of all time I do believe
Was it this or that other Starship song- “We Built This City’– both are pretty rank.
Oh you’re right. It was the other one.
either could fit the billing though.
I choose not to vote – – because there will always be someone coming along to ‘cancel out’ my most important say.
(In a Chandler from Friends voice) ‘Could there BE a sappier, worse song on radio?’ Starship: ‘Hold my (lite) beer…We built this cittttyyyy…’
Ugh. Make it stop…
A Starship which needed to crash..
😆
Watched a lot of bad movies when I was younger and had severe insomnia. Mannequin was one of the worst.
I don’t know why I watched this movie back then- but I immediately regretted the decision. Oh well… I am with you on this one.
Grace Slick was just paying the bills.
