Memorable Moments In Baseball- Babe Ruth Day At Yankee Stadium- April 27, 1947.

Babe Ruth was a dying man- throat cancer. Like they did with the doomed Lou Gehrig eight years earlier they held a day at Yankee Stadium for The Babe- and of course the placed was filled with fans. The Babe was only 53 years old when he died on August 16, 1948. He sure did pack a lot of life into those 53 years. The greatest baseball player of all-time.
