  1. When I hear one of the Casey Kasem’s from 88, I’m reminded of why I was listening to 80-90% Cfny, a Toronto alt rock station, by then. Not many gems on hit radio

  2. Some good stuff on here. I really liked that Winwood tune at the time and still think it’s pretty decent.

    It’s interesting how The Contours ended up with this tune in the top 40 for the second time. Coincidentally, I included “Do You Love Me” in my music history post today. Well, not really entirely a coincidence: The group first released this song as a single on June 29, 1962. It was their only top 40 hit, so it’s nice it made the charts twice.
