The final #1 hit of 1985 and the first of 1986. And yet another #1 hit from a movie- White Nights. Never saw the movie. I don’t know what I was doing in 1985 but Lionel Richie was dancing on the ceiling. This was Lionel’s 5th and thankfully final #1 solo hit. It is going to be tough to rank all the #1 hits in 1985- so many are mediocre- including this one. Not horrible but would I ever want to hear it again? No.
