No doubt this song was given a big boost by the very memorable video that went with it-[directed by Steve Barron] which is fine with me because I’ve always liked this song a lot. This was A-Ha’s first hit single -they would only have one more Top 40 hit on the Billboard charts- the follow up to “Take On Me’- “The Sun Always Shines On T.V.’ #20 also in 1985. A-Ha were a pop trio from Oslo, Norway.
I have to say I used to like the song much better back in the ’80s than I do now, though admittedly, it’s quite catchy. That video clip, however, remains intriguing.
