  1. I respect the dues the guy paid and he is a very good blues harp player but I just could never connect to them. I had a young cousin at the time who loved them and he asked me how could I not? I told him because they are so obvious and lack any edge whatsoever…you said it best…Pedestrian. I didn’t hate them but just didn’t like them.

    • he was the perfect kind of artist for the radio and folks who kind of went along with whatever the radio plays. His music was harmless.
