    Skip was Skip Battin who would go on to play bass for the Byrds and contribute some notably terrible songs co-written with Kim Fowley.

  2. Oh, yeah…Cathy’s Clown…my fave Everly tune.

    Johnny Horton! Grew up with his music. I still know Sink The Bismarck, The Battle of New Orleans and North to Alaska by heart. Sadly, by Nov. 5, he was dead.
