Chicago had so many hits in the 1970’s- this is one I don’t remember hearing. It’s certainly not one that has gotten much play on the radio in the last 50 years.
Not a bad tune. I dig Terry Kath’s guitar playing. That combination of rock and horns is way better than Chicago’s generic ’80s ballads!
Thought I knew all their singles from that time period, but have never heard this one. The instrumentals and vocals are good, but not a particularly strong song lyrically, structurally or melodically.
Chicago 3 was somewhat esoteric at the time and thus not appealing to top 40 radio. Incidentally, My wife booked tickets to a rescheduled Chicago concert in Cincinnati on 8/1 as part of our next road trip. As a former t’bone player, Chicago lives on with horn greatness….in my life.
I am not as familiar with the albums as with their singles.. enjoy your concert- something to look forward to
