  1. Oh, man, I love that tune. It’s one of my all-time favorite Beatles songs. Pretty solid cover by Mr. Slowhand, but my favorite rendition is this one by Prof. Rickenbacker himself. He’s the undisputed jingle-jangle master in my book! 🙂

    • A lot of “give and take” between the Beatles and the Byrds back in 1965. Harrison borrowed McGuinn’s riff in The Bells of Rhymney for this tune, but McGuinn based his jingle-jangle sound on Harrison’s chiming Rickenbacker on Hard Days Night.
