Produced by Quincy Jones with background vocals by Michael McDonald. I am not sure but I think Michael McDonald provided background vocals for every song recorded in the early 80’s. When I hear this song in my head- it’s Michael McDonald’s voice I am hearing. The song was written by Rod Temperton formerly of Heatwave. Temperton also wrote “Thriller’, ‘Off The Wall’ and ‘Rock With You’ for Michael Hercules Jackson.
