#166:’ Honey Pie”- from The White Album- written by Paul McCartney- it pays tribute to the British music hall style. It fits in well on The White Album- adding to an already diverse album.

#165: ‘Don’t Pass Me By”- from The White Album- One of Ringo’s songs on The White Album. He is given the songwriting credit- it was a song he had been working on- off and on during his whole time with The Beatles. With Lennon and McCartney two of the greatest songwriters ever in your band and an emerging George Harrison- Ringo felt no pressure to write songs. This is a country- rock song- Ringo’s first composition. Nice little tune. It was released as a single in Scandinavia and went to #1 in Denmark!

  1. I like both of those songs. This tells me that the rest of the choices will be ones I like. Ringo stumbled with the lyrics a little bit but for his first composition, pretty dang good!
