  • THE BASEBALL PROJECT: FROZEN ROPES AND DYING QUAILS: 2008: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: IPOD: ROCK: The first thing that comes to mind when i hear March- is baseball! Spring training games are underway- the season starts in a month and I have baseball on my mind. The Baseball Project a supergroup that has written three albums full of original baseball songs over the past dozen years is a favorite of mine. I just wish they would release a 4th album- the last album came out in 2014. The group consists of Peter Buck and Mike Mills from R.E.M, Steve Wynn -The Dream Syndicate, Scott McCaughey-The Young Fresh Fellows and drummer Linda Pitmon.
