  1. An interesting mix as always. I have to say I don’t know some of these records, likely because I barely listend to the radio or saw tv during that time, because of working long hours & overtime through most of the 80s. . . However I do remember seeing Eddie Rabbit at the county fair during that time.

    I always felt a little bad for name performers in their declining popularity having to do county fairs, it was almost like an insult, but they had to do it if they wanted to make money. . . but – Johnny Cash was on the Fair circuit in ’89 (saw him there), then in 1990 he found renewed popularity with the Highwaymen
