My Music Listening Journal 2021: Day 49: Thursday February 18, 2021.

- JIM CARROLL BAND: CATHOLIC BOY: 1980: 4 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: IPOD: PUNK ROCK: Jim Carroll was a noted poet and author-before becoming a punk rock/ new wave performer in 1980 with this his debut album. ‘People Who Died” got – and still gets a lot of air play-rounding out the Mount Rushmore:”Day And Night”, “Nothing Is True” and the title track. The debut would prove to be Carroll’s best and best selling album.

- DAVID BOWIE: THE BUDDHA OF SUBURBIA: 1993: 2 1/2 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: IPOD: EXPERIMENTAL ROCK: This was to be a soundtrack but only one of the songs made it to the soundtrack. Bowie once called this his favorite album- certainly he was pulling someone’s leg.
