  1. I loved ‘Careless Whisper’ (the extended version with its dramatic instrumental lead-in) with a passion back then. It was a massive hit on L.A. radio, and spent 8 weeks at #1 on KIIS-fm. And though it’s a bit sappy and over-wrought, I also love ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’.

I’m shocked you gave ‘Like a Virgin’ an A+, as I would have expected you’d give it a C at best. Some of my music snob friends absolutely hated it, whereas I thought it was lots of fun, though not necessarily a great song.

  2. American Top 50? I saw your heading and I thought “Casey Kasem had another show?” LOL!

Hall & Oates, side by side. How odd. I SO miss Midnight Star on the radio. Love Misled. Bruce by Rick Springfield? I’ve never heard of that one.

    Madonna…*GAG*
