Would you believe me if I told you I’ve been listening to these guys lately?
I had heard of them but had never actually listened to them… I take it you are a fan of theirs?
Yes I am. It’s a little more easy access to the jazz thing. A little funk thrown in. The main members are solid. If you get into their groove you might become a fan. Cut some tunes with Cocker and Bill Withers.
I remember their hit single from the late 70’s- other than that not all that familiar will have to check them out.
Pretty varied and extensive library. Hook into the “Best Of” it will give you a feel. I’m sure you’ll recognize some of the tunes.
Thanks- sounds like a good starting place!
