Stephen Stills was born in Dallas, Texas in 1945. The singer/songwriter was in Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills and Nash. This was his first solo hit single- and his biggest. From 1970-84 he had 10 Hot 100 singles with this being his only Top 40 hit.

  1. Stephen Stills: tons of talent and saw himself as the next superstar a la Clapton, but just couldn’t keep his head on straight. The eponymous solo debut album is actually quite good overall, although a few of the songs suffer from over-production.
