The only interesting thing about this single is- it was #1 for 1 week the week of November 22, 1975. “Fly Robin Fly” from Silver Convention then took over the top spot for three weeks and then-nearly a month later on December 20, 1975 “That’s The Way {I Like It} returned to the top. One of the few times this has happened. This was the second #1 by KC and The Sunshine Band in three months. Tells you a lot about music in 1975.
I’ve never been able to stand disco, but I’ve always gotten quite a kick out of this song
I, on the other hand, was a big fan of disco, so I liked both this song and ‘Fly, Robin, Fly’, though I didn’t love them. Now, 45 years later, I concede that they’re both pretty mediocre, and would give them a C grade.
oh yeah followed them all over FL , even in home ground Gainesville. The best was the concert in Walt Disney in 1981 1982 memories fading… Thanks for the update.
