This is the version of the song I’m most familiar with. You can’t beat the original but Barbra comes close. I loved her music and movies when she was at the top of the charts. Haven’t watched one of her movies in a long time. Wondering if they stand the test of time…

I detect a much different impression today of Streisand than when this song was recorded. Better or worse?
a friend of my brothers who runs a used record store says he can’t give Streisand albums away let along get someone to buy them.
I feel the same about Rod Stewart and even Chicago these days. Too mainstream and Vegas act like for me.
Good point- I like the Chicago of the 70’s- they offered something a little different- then into the 80’s they started to change… Rod also- went from great to average to lame.
