Girls! Girls! Girls! -Gloria”- Them. “Gloria” which has become a standard garage rock song over the years was written by a 19 year old Van Morrison of Belfast in 1964. It was released as the b-side of the Them [Van’s group at the time} single “Baby, Please Don’t Go” in December 1964 and released on their album- The Angry Young Them. I don’t play guitar but it said to be a simple song to play- three chords. Over the years dozens of artists have covered it either on their albums or live in concert.
