A pop/rock band from England- this was Blue Mink’s only entry into the Hot 100.
I used to love ‘Melting Pot’, even if it would probably be considered a bit politically incorrect these days.
Blue Mink were a big deal in their day. They were one of the first multi-racial bands I ever remember to make it big. U B40 followed on a bit later.
I hadn’t heard of them-until doing this write up. Will check out some of their other stuff. Thanks.
